Project Spartan is far more than an opportunity to get fit. It touches and benefits all aspects of life and provides a powerful motivational foundation to live-by and build upon. I'm now the fittest, strongest and happiest I have ever been, and have muscles appearing all over!
My recommendation? Do it!
Apologies for the delay, my invitational email got caught up in the deluge of other emails.
Current State:
It's difficult to give many current improvement recommendations when we share facilities with other groups, as the Spartan group are restricted to storage space and amount of equipment we store and use per session.
I understand that Project Spartan is in the progress of locating a single occupancy facility which would certainly improve things and take the Brotherhood to the next level.
One slight improvement I would suggest is some of the equipment is becoming a little tired and withered, for example; the material that is used on the underside of the sleds is not ideal (we all know this) but it would be nice for this to be maintained to reduce the opportunity of injury.
Also, there are often times when I am waiting for the mid-range 20-30kg dumbells and resistance bands when training. As mentioned before, I know storage space is an issue but maybe a slight increase of equipment in these area's could save time when training and reducing the risk of over-running on time.
Ideal Future State:
Where do I start....A fully equipped Spartan Coliseum complete with clean changing and toilet facilities (possibly lockers), a fit-for-purpose sled run (on astro turf or similar material), a full range of dumbells with multiple quantities of middle 20-30kg weights, a separate technical area for lifting/squats/pull-ups etc.
Other "nice to have's" would be air conditioning for those sweaty summer evenings, complete surround sound system and artwork surrounding the coliseum reminding us warriors to "why" we are there including motivational quotes.
If you require any further feedback, do not hesitate to contact me.

Unfit, overweight and 35 years old I needed to do something different to get myself back on track. Not just with fitness but my overall attitude towards my work and personal life.
I'd seen Project Spartan advertised but always made excuses as to why it wouldn't be for me. But after some major changes in my personal life I made the leap and applied.
After the first 3 months I've lost around 2st in weight, and feel the best I have in years. I train 3 times a week, the Spartan ethos being 'Just Turn Up'. Because once you are there not only the Personal trainers fire you up but every Brother stood next to you pushes you on. This is what makes Spartan different from any other gym or training camp. There are no egos simply like minded men wanting to make themselves better than they were yesterday.
The weight loss is great but the noticeable changes in my attitude and energy levels is huge. No longer putting things off I simply get it done right away.
I cannot recommend Spartan highly enough, it has to be seen to be believed.
Project Spartan is a game changer, always tying to mix up and improve the programme, you are guided through by a great team of coaches. Training alongside and constantly encouraged by a team of like minded guys where your only competitor is yourself enables you to push your personal boundaries, add to that the great nutrition advice, an area most guys never consider and you have a winning formula. Great atmosphere, great coaches, great results!
